The Google Dance Tool

By Tom Morley of http://www.juniperavenue.com

This Google Dance Tool, compliments of SearchBliss, lets you know if your site has been indexed in Google's databases, and how many of your sites pages have been included. Google's spiders crawl the Internet and update its directories every thirty days, give or take a few. When the number of links to your site on the directories start to change and differ from each other, that is when you know the Google "Dance" has begun... Google is spidering and caching your site. Just type your website URL (i.e, www.yoursite.com) into the box below and hit Submit Query. A new window will open with the results.

To determine how many of your site's pages are being indexed in Google right now, type "allinurl:yoursite.com site:www.yoursite.com" into your browser's search bar (using your website URL instead of "yoursite"). After the Google Dance, do the same search. Hopefully, more of your pages are indexed each time. Enjoy the Dance!
